Beginning Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga is a blend of breathing practices, postures, deep relaxation, meditation and mantra. The practice unites the finite body with the Infinite body. It awakens the Kundalini energy at the base of the spine. Kundalini yoga cultivates awareness, increases physical vitality, and brings one into a meditative state.
We will be doing pranayam, a series of asanas for increasing the flexibility of the spine, deep relaxation, and a beautiful mantra.
Maggie Vineburgh (Seva Savitri Kaur) is certified in Kundalini yoga through the Kundalini Research Institute, the teacher training program of Yogi Bhajan. Maggie loves to share her enjoyment of transformation, expansion and healing. She lives in Evergreen with her husband, two children, two cats and one standard poodle.
