Hatha yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in America. It is the branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. In our classes we flow with breath, explore every range of motion, stretch, strengthen and align for whole body balance.
High Energy Hatha is a faster paced class with plenty of Vinyasa (poses flowing with breath)
Gentle Hatha is a slower flow with more meditative postures and focus on breath
Healing Yoga: Al levels. This class combines Breath work, Sun salutations for focus, a small amount of strengthening & balance. Full body stretching, restorative postures & sometimes sound healing & gentle assists.
All levels welcome! This class is where you learn to relax! Soft music, gentle poses, lots of props all help to create an environment of cozy, peaceful comfort which helps you to unwind from your weekly life stress. Science shows that by learning how to relax without "numbing out" has many benefits including increased function in the nervous, digestive, and immune systems. We will learn to breath deeper and slower, stretch gently and mindfully, and open our energy channels to come out feeling refreshed and ready to enjoy the weekend.
Move, Breathe, Sweat - that's the goal in this Power Yoga class. An energetic and vigorous practice to strengthen our bodies, minds and hearts. You will be daring, try new things and feel amazing. This class moves quickly so experience and playfulness is required.
Expand your practice and challenge your self in this class. We will study form, try more intense postures & have lots of fun! Darcy LeFevre is our teacher for this class. She knows her anatomy and has a deep understanding of the practice. She will be able to answer questions about alignment, help guide you through difficult Asana and teach you some new things.

Insight Out Meditation Gathering:
The format is casual. We begin each session with an overview of meditation, techniques used in meditation, and challenges commonly faced followed with some gentle movement. We then meditate for 45 minutes and end with some more gentle movement and discussion about our experience.
All are welcome…from those experienced with meditation to those newly interested in exploring the benefits of the practice. This experience is free of charge, however donations will be accepted & dispersed to promote mediation to under served populations.

This series will teach you the basics of yoga, what to expect in a yoga class, and how to work with your body. We will talk briefly about what yoga is, the principles of yoga and the history. We will also work on breath, meditation and the why behind the poses. This is the class for complete beginners or someone who wants to know more about why we do things the way we do them in yoga class. Wear yoga clothes, be prepared to move, class size is limited to 6 people.
