Join Jamie Bushman for “Reset for Resilience,” a 4-week workshop based on Brown University’s

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy program, using movement and mindfulness to find your

center in a busy world.

Wednesdays 7-8:30pm

May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

Each session will include:

40% practice--guided meditation and mindful movement/yoga,

30% discussion

30% skill-building

Each week will feature key themes:

Week #1: Awareness vs. Autopilot

Week #2: The Body as an Anchor

Week #3: Gathering the Scattered Mind

Week #4: Thoughts are Not Facts.

This workshop is especially helpful for those who have experienced anxiety, recurring negative

thoughts, or previous episodes of depression, as well as anyone seeking practical tools to break

free from rumination and cultivate a more balanced, calm mindset.

All abilities are welcome and all movement will be guided with options for seated, standing, or

on floor. Wear comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat if you’d like, chairs will also be available.

With over 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Jamie Bushman has

dedicated her career to helping individuals improve mobility, function, and quality of life. She has

also spent 15 years teaching in a community college health sciences program, where she

enjoys mentoring future healthcare professionals.

For the past 10 years, Jamie has been a yoga instructor with a passion for adaptive yoga,

making movement accessible to individuals with physical and cognitive challenges. She is the

founder and owner of Yoga Sweet Yoga, a small business focused on bringing inclusive,

personalized yoga to clients in their home and community settings.

Jamie recently completed her training through Brown University as a facilitator of

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and is excited to bring this evidence based

approach to the community, supporting mental and physical wellness.
